Vickie Bruce (second from the left) is the latest member of Girlguiding Cornwall to gain the Queen’s Guide award which was presented to her as the finale of the County Annual Review evening.

Vickie is a Leader with Camelford Guides, and has been working hard for three years to gain this, the highest award in Girlguiding. She set herself a variety of tasks in a number of categories: in the ‘exploration’ category she planned and completed the intriguingly named ‘London on a shoestring’. During the time she has been working for the award she even managed to take time out to be married!
