Brownie Sixer and Seconder Activity Days

162 Brownies attended the Sixer and Seconder Days at Nine Ashes, near Bodmin. A fun packed day was enjoyed by all, the girls and their Leaders. They tried various activities including, archery, pedal cars, climbing wall, blind trail and moving to Guides. The moving to Guide session included outdoor cooking with a cardboard cooker! Indoors the girls made delicious kebabs both healthy and not so healthy (covered in chocolate!), and made clay animals, they also tried their hand at orienteering.

The only disappointment of the weekend for me was that not one girl went home with mud on her as we were fortunate enough to have sunshine all weekend, even having a picnic lunch on the field!
